Lydia has worked in the medical field since 1981. She is board certified in Family Practice and Adult Psychiatry. Her experience includes assessment, evaluation and treatment of physical and psychological conditions. She has also worked as a clinical instructor and educator.

Lydia enjoys serving on short term medical outreaches around the world and relaxing at the beach. In years past, she competed as a rodeo barrel racer and earned an Orange belt in Tang Su Do.
