Lorien attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where she graduated with a master of arts in marriage and family counseling and a master of theology. She is currently working on a doctorate in counseling education and supervision. Lorien has experience working with a variety of individuals, couples, and families, but she has devoted much of her time to working with children. Using play therapy and other treatment modalities, she loves seeing children and their families find hope, wellness, and life. Additionally, she has experience using EMDR, helping individuals of all ages focus on truth and find healing from past experiences.
Originally from Tennessee, Lorien has called New Orleans home since 2011, where she lives with her husband. She enjoys exploring new places and spending time with friends. Most of her adventures include a good cup of coffee and discovering new foods or recipes.
